What should I do if I think my child has Strep A?
We recommend getting in touch. Whilst not normally serious, there has been a rise in infections, so it is always worth addressing.
Can you vaccinate against Polio?
Yes, we offer a wide range of vaccination services.
What should I have in a first aid kit?
There are so many items you could add, so there is no right or wrong answer. Our recommendations include: plasters, sterile dressings, antiseptic cream, safety pins, tweezers, antihistamines (for allergies) and age-appropriate painkillers.
Are ear infections contagious?
Whilst the ear infection itself is not, the bacteria or infections that might cause ear infections are. if in doubt, please get in touch.
Can you offer safe sleeping advice for babies?
Yes, we will be happy to offer advice to new parents on safe sleeping positions and routines.
What is “too much screen time”?
We recommend encouraging healthy screen habits, such as putting away devices 30-60 minutes before bed, turning off screens at meal times, and limiting exposure to harmful content.
How do I know if my child has a UTI?
Urinary Tract Infections can be common in children, but it can be hard to tell. If you are unsure, please arrange an appointment with us.
How can I avoid nappy rash?
We can offer advice on how to avoid nappy rash in children, but common top tips include regular changing, daily bathing and fragrance/alcohol-free wipes.
I have questions about my child language development.
Children can learn up to 500 words by age 2, and recognise gestures and expressions. If you would like tailored advice, or have any concerns about your child’s language development, please feel free to get in touch.
What should I do if my baby has Chickenpox?
We recommend keeping nails trimmed and covering hands with mittens, to help prevent spot scratching. You can also apply calming lotions. If you have any concerns, please speak to us.
Why are vaccines important?
Vaccines are used to strengthen your immune system, and prevent/reduce the severity of a number of serious medical conditions. Worldwide they prevent millions of avoidable deaths.
What are the symptoms of meningitis?
There are several, but common symptoms include sudden temperatures, rashes, reduced energy and changes in eating habits. If in doubt, contact our team today.
What are the symptoms of measles in babies?
Common symptoms include white spots in the mouth, rashes on the skin, high fever and sore eyes. It is important to speak with a doctor as soon as possible.
Does my child have Autism?

Does my child have ADHD?
This is something our team can help with. Not everyone who has ‘signs’ of ADHD actually has it, so it is always worth speaking to a medical professional.
What do I do if I think my child has Hepatitis?
We recommend contacting our team as soon as possible to be sure. Symptoms to keep an eye out for include light stools, dark urine, vomiting and abdominal pain.
Am I breastfeeding right/is it right for me?

What are the signs my child is dehydrated?
Keep an eye out for dark urine, drowsiness, dry mouth, fast breathing and sunken eyes. These are not all the symptoms, but in any case please contact a doctor immediately if you have any concerns.
Does my child have Eczema?
Eczema rashes can be mistaken for other conditions, but if your child has had a rash for over a week with no improvements, there is blistering, or they have a sudden fever, please seek medical attention.
